Using a TTM as a takeoff Surface

    Hello

I sometimes get original ground surfaces supplied as TTMs or XMLs, often they are just the triangles and none of the original observations or breaklines.

I would like to be able to use these surfaces in the takeoff routine.

Despite changing the surface classification to "Original" TBC will not recognise it as a takeoff surface (the help seems to suggest it should). Any ideas how to "explode" the surface or similar to generate points are the triangle corners that can be used to rebuild the OGL surface ahead of takeoff?

    Cheers

    Sam

You can add this surface as a surface member to the original takeoff surface. This is how I usually go about it.

Otherwise you can use the macro explode surface.
