Here is how I reclassify brush in a point cloud using TBC.

You can also use the Classify Regions and also Extract Ground Functions to do something similar but maybe slightly more automated way - would be interesting to benchmark those methods against your current method to see how long they each take and how good the results are on exactly the same data. Classify Region and Extract Ground are a part of the Scanning Module which you may not own - if you want to try those out if you don't have them let me know and we can get you a trial to experiment.

Thanks for the comments Alan.  We do have the scanning module, and I was able to use it recently on ground Earth only extractions. It worked very well and didn't have the confusing options like Global mapper has. I'll do an experiment and run that same project that was in the video through Business Center and see what the extraction process yields.
