Hi all. Has anyone the right script to import in TBC data from a Sokkia total station? We would to use TBC for all our survey jobs.

Many thanks to anyone would help us. 

What form of data - is it coordinates or raw observations. Do you know what format you have available to you on the instrument or data collector?

I am not aware of a specific script for the instrument but it may be possible - send me a file and I can at least take an look and if you have any output options send me a variety and I will see what is possible

Hi, I’m so sorry for the delay in my answer.

Well.

Data is raw observations.

We use a Total Station Sokkia SET2x and the raw data from the station is in format SDR20.

But Trimble Business Center need SDR33.

So we use software Sokkia link to convert from SDR20 to SDR33.

I sent you an email with attached  a sdr20 and the relative sdr33

Importing in TBC our sdr33 doesn’t work properly.

Importing SDR33 in TBC 5.30 finally works!

TBC already has a predefined script for importing the Leica SDR33 file format, so you can simply drag and drop the file to TBC. Gabrio had some issues importing SDR33 with TBC 5.20, but the issue is gone now with TBC 5.30. Would you give it a try with TBC 5.30?

Hi Wang Youfei, as Rui Wu answered you no other workaround than Trimble Business Center release 5.30. 

So the workflow is: Sokkia Set2x -> Sokkia link -> TBC 5.30
