Advanced Selection of Linestrings By Surface Sharpness

Is there a way to select linestrings by the property Surface Sharpness?

In creating a subgrade surface areas need to be bounded by linestrings with the surface sharpness property set to "Sharp and Texture". We have wanted to select by that property to see what linestrings are being used to define site improvement areas. This is especially true when we have erred and the site improvement does not fill the area we expected.

It would also be nice if we could use all of the properties of a linestring in the Advanced Selection tool

    Thanks,

I will add that as a request - we have just added Linestring Length as an Advanced Select property (next release) search and I don't think these are that hard to add - so hopefully they can do this one as well.

Having said that - when you build Takeoff Surfaces or Surfaces using Site Improvements or Textures, a useful trick to find out which lines have been used in the surface model as Texture / Improvement Boundaries is to open the Surface Properties and turn off Wireframe and Breaklines and just show Drapelines. All of the lines that are used as Sharp and texture Boundaries become Drapelines in the model and that will help you to find the one(s) that is / are causing you the problem. Normal Breaklines with Sharp or Soft setting are not used as Drapelines.
