If we have a long highway project that is oriented east/west, with widescreen monitors it is frustrating to have the project oriented north/south, as the majority of your screen real estate is wasted. It would be useful to be able to re-orient the plan view. Possibly a ctrl+shft+scroll, similar to the vertical exaggeration adjustment in 3d view, which then rotates the view to angular interval snaps? Or even just a project setting to set plan view orientation to N/S or E/W. Thank you.
