Feature request: A project setting that allows you to adjust surface view settings?

More often than not, when I create a surface, the first thing I do is adjust the properties of the surface to meet my preferences in 2d and 3d views. For example, I usually prefer to have wireframe and breaklines turned off in 3d view. These preferences are consistent enough that it would be useful to have a project setting that is saved with my project template, which gives the option to set up those preferences globally within the project. This could save a lot of time for those of us who are always changing the surface view settings.

Totally agree. I was actually going to post something similar the other day.

You can create multiple surfaces with no members, change the settings and use the file as a template.

Depending on what a surface is used for you may want to use different settings.  When using point clouds you may want to keep the wireframe off, but you probably want to see it in a design surface.  When we create an isopach we make it not visible so that you don't have to wait for it to display in order to see the volume computations.

What do you do for Takeoff Surfaces & Cut Fill Maps settings though? It would be great to be able to set default properties for a template.

    That's a rather clunky workaround...

Surely it can be done as surfaces created using "Flatten Surface" command by default have wireframe turned off.
