Create point by Station offset spreadsheet

I'm looking for a way to import a spreadsheet with Station/Offset/Elevation/Code to create points on mass. I'm unable to find a command for this. In my experience that definitely doesn't mean it's not possible.

You can do it, but its not at all obvious how.

You need to make the first line of the csv file be "TBC Excel" without the quotes.  Then all the lines after that are formatted as point number, station, offset, elevation, code.  Then you save it as a .csv file and the file name needs to match exactly the name of the alignment in your TBC project.  Then run the import command and navigate to the folder you stored the csv file in.  The file type for the listed for your csv file should be shown as Station/Offset/Elevation.  If it isn't then you have to right click on the file, pick set file type, and pick station/offset/elevation.  Then you are good to import.  It puts the points on layer "Points" automatically.  You have to have a separate csv file for every alignment that has points you want to import.  Good luck.

There has been a change in the title that reads TBC Excel.  It no longer has to be capital letters.  The other is, there is no need to name the file as the alignment.  There is a option when importing the file that will let you select the appropriate alignment.   It is great that you are allowed to number the points as you wish.

I still would like to see an option inside TBC to create points by S&O.   In Terramodel there is an command called Point by Station.  It will just cut down the time to do all the work in Excel.
