Changing of MXDB-File-Path, Project and raw data from network storage

  • 1.  Changing of MXDB-File-Path, Project and raw data from network storage

    Dear all,

I saved a complete mission to a network attached storage and would like to open the TBC-project data on a machine which is connected to that storage. As I opened the project file, TBC was instantly asking for a new path from MXDB file. I selected the new path from the explorer. It seems that everything is fine, but now I am not able to see the trajectory of every run anymore. Also the given path under the imported datasets shows me the older one. How can I change that to the new one? Does TBC supports data from local network drives still including reference to the MXDB and SBET files?

    I appreciate your help.

    Best regards

    Andreas

    Hi Andreas,

Would you elaborate your workflow, for example, which TBC version are you using, and did you also copy all the raw data (Laser_1, Laser_2, etc.) to the network location? Here is what I just tried in TBC 5.20 and it seems to be working.

    1. I have an MX9 raw data folder on a local drive, and a TBC project is created at the same location. The file path to the trajectory is C:\...\sbet.out.

    2. Copy the whole folder, including the TBC project, to a network location U:\...

    3. Re-launch TBC. Open the project for the network location.

    4. The trajectory path has been updated to U:\...\sbet.out, and I can toggle trajectories of runs properly.

    Thank you.
