Free Viewer
In the TBC Free Viewer the only commands that are there that apply to VisionLink are
- The VisionLink command that allows you to run VisionLink from TBC - i.e. it opens your browser and runs the VisionLink URL - nothing more than that.
- The Publish to Business Data Center Command that allows TBC Site Calibrations, DXF (Linework) Files and TTM (Surface Models) Files and I believe SVD/SVL files (Alignments) to the TCC Business Data Center Filespace that is utilized by VisionLink to receive and use Design Files for a project.
- The Publish to VisionLink command that allows a direct transfer of TBC data into a selected VisionLink project including the following types of data
- Mass Haul Plan (that could be used with VisionLink (but not Unified Productivity) for monitoring production
- Design Alignments for corridor models
- Design Surfaces for a Project
- Surveyed Surfaces for a Project
- Linework for a Project
Site Modeling Edition
In the Site Modeling Edition the functionality that links to the VisionLink Unified Productivity / Production Model is available. The functions in this module include
- Create Machine Data Overlay this connects to VisionLink and will download a color coded map based on the filter criteria set in TBC e.g. Area, Date and Time Range, Machine(s), Fully Automatic, Forward Direction etc. as well as First, Last, Highest or Lowest pass etc. The Maps can represent Surface Elevation, Surface Coverage, Pass Counts and Compaction Values or Cut and Fill to a selected Design surface etc.
- Edit / View Machine Data Overlay - This provides tools to edit a downloaded Machine Data Overlay and refresh the information from VisionLink based on the changes made
- Create Machine Data Surface - This provides the ability to utilize the parameters of a Machine Data Overlay to create and download a gridded data set as a point cloud from VisionLink that represents the surface as a set of 3D points that can be used to model the surface or the compaction data results etc.
- Detailed Cell Viewer - This provides the ability to click anywhere on the project and receive from VisionLink all of the information about that specific location from all of the information generated by all of the 3D Machines on the project that may have passed over that specified location. This includes how the elevations or compaction results have varied over time. This can be used to check model or compaction inconsistencies or to query depths of Overexcavation or Overfill or rework that were carried out at a specific location.
I hope that this clarifies the question for you, the Full list of commands by Edition or Module is available from this Forum, it was posted last week actually. That will tell you which commands are secured to which Edition or Module in the TBC v5 release.
Thanks
