I've have introduced a customer to Advanced Measurement in SCS900 and created a decent FeatureCode-FXL with him.

Importing it all into BC-HCE is fine, but they would like to export it to a DXF, including the text (IDs).

This means using the Label Lines / Label Points, but there is only the option to place the labels at a single layer at a time, which mean you lose the coloring from the feature codes.

Is there a quick way to add the labels to the layers of the objects they are assigned? Other than doing the Label Points / Label Lines based on each layer one at a time?

Typically you would use a GIS exporter like Shapefile (Export - GIS - Shapefile) to include your attributes.

You may try Create Text - Insert Smart Text - Property: Feature Codes - Object: (point, line,surface).

Set you font and pick your object and place your text.

I'm pretty sure they don't want to go the GIS-way.

As to Create Text, this would again involve a lot of user input - which we are trying to avoid - as the info is already there.

The labelling works fine, we just need a clever way to add them to the layer of the object being labelled, to retain the color etc defined by the feature code.
