I've imported a raster PDF, digitized it and split it into layers.

Now, is it possible to export this into a PDF which keeps the different layers to be turned on/off?

Not today - TBCs export to PDF outputs everything on "one layer" unfortunately. I have never found a way to replicate the layers from the TBC Data into the PDF. I have requested that as an improvement to the PDF output in the past.

I think this feature should be on the top ten list of enhancement requests. I see more and more of this specification being required by customers and stakeholders and I think it soon will be a standard because of the extended use of Bluebeam Revu in the construction business.

In Sweden, where I reside, they’re even putting in the contracts that e.g. as-builts must be delivered in layered PDFs and the format pdf/a along with dwg files.

So if there are more users around the globe in this forum that has the same requirements upon them please put down some sentences on this subject so that Trimble can see that there is a big demand for this request.

Interesting to hear they are actually putting it in the contracts. That one way to push technology - and fast.

Do you know what they do today? I've been looking into converters that will change a DXF to PDF and keep the layers as a workaround.

Agreed. As contractors we request and anticipate this from engineers. We should be able to supply this all the same as a courtesy.
