3D Linestring Extensions

  • 1.  3D Linestring Extensions

    I am trying  but cannot find a way to

     

    1. Extend/Trim a 3d linestring by a distance along the string not a horizontal distance

    2. Extend/Trim a 3d linestring to a RL.

     

    Any help much appreciated

    Can you give us an example of what you are trying to do?  Not following what you are attempting to do.

    I am trying to project a 3D line string by a distance, not a horizontal one as can be done in the trim/extend command also the ability to project the line to a given level if needed.

    I am away from town and tbc is not with me, but I will send an example when I get back.
