Problem Installing 5.21

I've downloaded 5.21 but can't get it installed.  Each time I get to this point and it gets some kind of error and shuts down.  See screenshot below.  Any ideas on where to go from here?  I'll try to reboot and see if that helps.

I had the same problem on some computers. On my laptop it installed fine. On my desktop I rebooted, moved the downloaded file to that computer from the server, and it still took about 4 tries before it worked. I had been told in the past to uninstall first when the first number of the version changed. Like 4.x to 5.x.

If you have these types of issue then a Cleanup Utility use is a good idea - deinstall the previous version, run Cleanup Utility to scrub the PC and then install clean and normally that works if you have this type of issue

I encountered an issue with v5.21 as well.  My issue was a bit different.  The file would start to download from the web and then restart my laptop @ about 75% downloaded twice.  On the third try I closed all windows and tryied to download the file again and third time was charm.

When you install a complete installation of TBC there are a number of

Windows / Operating System / Third Party Tools that have to be installed -

the restart of your computer is caused by the installation of those

components - if those have issues of any kind, this can create this

behavior and it is somewhat out of our control as that brings into play

your IT / IS department policies and the state of your computer (Windows

and System Updates, Operating System, BIOS, Graphics Card etc.) and their

state of update. If you have everything 100% up to date then the installer

should work just fine, however when not 100% up to date - we often

find things that are not current and that can trip up a third party

    installer embedded in our installer.

We try to validate our Installer, but every PC is configured differently

and are of widely different ages and we would expect that as many as 20%

may not install cleanly for these reasons as not everyone manages and

maintains their computer as often as they should do (if it aint broken dont

fix it approach which is all good and well until something needs the

    updates etc.)

    Hope this helps
