Is there a way to change the direction of horizontal alignment?

Is there an easy way to change the direction of a horizontal alignment in TBC?

I can change the direction of a line string; but is there a way for a horizontal aligment?

I have the same question and no response.

There's no command for that. If you have RPS Macros which I highly suggest, you can to edit alignment as spreadsheet, and copy the vertical data. Then you can just recreate the horizontal alignment, then paste in the vertical information back using the same RPS command.

Convert to Linestring is a free macro. Convert the alignment, reverse linestring direction, then append to alignment again.

This is the best option if you do not have the RPS Macro.

Yeah there's a super easy way, just spend a couple grand on a third party subscription service to gain access to this simple basic common feature that's been requested for almost a decade to be included in TBC...

100% Agree, CAD grips on a Horizontal alignment is a very basic function that should have been in TBC years ago! Sick of everything useful getting farmed out to Macros.

    I requested this again in 2022: https://community.trimble.com/communities/community-homepage/digestviewer/viewthread?GroupId=397&MessageKey=5cd48ae5-9d1c-45a9-97d8-174ebad69f11&CommunityKey=d961b046-1661-40f3-8d7e-0bde6866a14d

Please add this to TBC ASAP, it is such a missing feature!

Edit alignment as a spreadsheet used to be included free with TBC. It actually was installed by default when Macro functionality was first released. I've been installing RPS for a while so I don't know if it is still installed by default. The RPS version is also free of charge.

This Convert To Linestring command was added in 2019, and has always been free. Not sure what you're talking about....

Make it into a simple  corridor than explode it and edit the linestring and reverse direction and then create alignment from reversed linestring.  A lone alignment won't explode.

I would not suggest this. If I recall correctly, exploding a corridor creates horizontal segments at every triangle, so based on your sampling distance you'll have a new segment. Also, would that method retain vertical curves? I don't think it would.
