different coord's TSC7 job file and TBC

One of our surveyor copied a job file from data controller (TSC7 v 2019.11)  to TBC( v 5.1).

We have noticed that the coordinates of some points in TSC7 and TBC differ in about 1mm in Northing and Easting, and 8 mm in the elevation.

We have checked the coordinate system in both the controller and TBC and they are the same, also the geoid is the same.

Is this a glitch in TBC  ?

Were there any multiple observations of control points that would be re-computed/averaged when brought into TBC?  If you use "store another" in TA, the value displayed in TA will be the very first observation of that Point Name.

Robert, what the surveyor did was the following. He set up a control using our GNSS  VRS system. Then he performed a resection on the control point using the same name, and he got new coordinates , specially for elevation.

We are told that the resection has priority. TA reports the coordinates according to the resection, but why TBC does not do the same instead of using merge point values?

So it might then be TBC combining the VRS and total station observations to compute all the data. Since total station observations are more accurate than RTK observations, total station data is weighted more than RTK.

You could set the VRS observed  value of the control point to "control" class and recompute the TBC project.

Thank you Robert. That worked !!!!
