Is there a setting to increase the text white out size?

No it is a percentage of the size of the Text Fnt I believe

Is the issue that our white out is pretty much limited to the font size only and that it could do with being say 110% of the Font Size or something like that - do we need a setting or do we just need t o make the whiteout area larger?

Also on the question of Borders around the text - do you want that for any Text or just White Out Text and what shapes do you want - just a couple like Rectangle, Lozenge etc. or many including Circle, Triangle, trapezium, Square, Hexagon, Pentagon, Dodecahedron (joke ...) etc.

Let me know - I logged in the request and I know these questions will come back as a result and would like to make a preemptive strike here!

If the white out area was increased to a slightly larger percentage of the text would help in my opinion. My personal choice for text is either Arial or RomansD as those seem to have the best plotted appearance. On my elevation callouts I usually indicate top of curb as T/C or sidewalk as S/W, etc., And the text white out is limited to the text height and cuts off the slash mark and other symbols that are slightly larger than the text height.

As far as a text border that might be an overall community question. When I worked at an engineering firm we typically used a lozenge/pill shape for point number or elevation callouts. So the lozenge shape would be my preference. Although I do like the idea of several to choose from for different callouts and/or section details.  So being able to choose from the Platonic Solids for text borders would be nice (joke)!

We just changed the Border size from 25% to 40% around Text so that should

fix the Whiteout Size issue in next release, and we are discussing Borders

to see if those could be done in time.
