This is a Graphics Glitch - can be caused by your Graphics Card Driver being in need of update - can also be caused by a Glitch between Hoops Graphics in TBC and the Graphics Driver you have set up in Support - Options - Advanced - depends on the age of your Laptop and Graphics Card in the laptop as to which option you need to use - You can try downgrading DirectX11 to DirectX 9 or OpenGL or OpenGL2 to see if it helps. I dont believe that it has anything to do with Shortcuts - but if you feel that it does it only when you use shortcuts then we can of course look at that.
Fix is to open a New Plan View and close the existing Plan View - it should clear the problem and let you carry on. If you are getting this many times per day then you need to check your System (Windows, Graphics Card Drivers, System Upgrades like Bios etc.) - we are seeing this less today than we were say a year ago and have been working to eliminate it - but with all the laptop and laptop age variants and different laptop configs out there (different apps installed pre and post a TBC install) it is almost impossible to track every glitch issue down as it is often unique to a specific machine
If you are seeing this as a major issue - please open a support Ticket with SITECH and have them involve the Trimble Support staff to take a look at your system for you - I dont have any other suggestions - and I dont know of anything specific other than what I have listed above to help you here.
