Menu popping up after drag

  • 1.  Menu popping up after drag

When I right click and drag the window the menu pops up as if I had right clicked without dragging.

This has been happening for a while in other versions also. I have just gotten used to it and hit esc or click in the properties window to make it go away. It is annoying. I don't know how to make a screen video of it.

    You mean when panning?

What menu comes up - the snap modes menu if you have a command open and a swappable field selected or the context menu eg breakine etc if you have a line selected or the last used commands if you have nothing selected

This sounds like it is a mouse issue ie you may have your mouse configured so that it clashes in some way or you have a fault on your mouse or your click speed is off

You can pan also by clicking the wheel of your mouse

I have not noticed this at all personally - has anyone else seen this?

I will try this deliberately to see what happens also

It was the mouse it self. I changed the mouse and it works fine now. I thought it did it on my desktop also but it seems to be fine also. It was the mouse on my laptop. Thank you Alan for pointing me in the right direction. Since the mouse worked fine everywhere else I would not have thought of it.
