I'm trying to save a project, but when I attempt to do so, I get an error saying that TBC has suffered an unexpected error. It also says I need to save and restart the program, I really don't want to do that and lose everything I've been working on since it won't save. I'm still able to work in the TBC file, I just can't save, is there any recourse? 

I am sorry to hear that happened to you, Brandon. I have asked a developer to review the exception you posted. Assuming that Save As doesn't work either, you could try exporting your project data to a VCL Project Link file in the meantime so you won't lose all of your data. I'll let you know what I hear back from the developers.

Here is the answer from development:

"Sounds like an object is holding onto a serial number of a deleted object. You should be able to select some of the data and export that to VCL. If you select the object that has the issue, the VCE export will fail."

Are you able to Undo to the last point at which the file would save? Can you give us an idea of what kinds of tasks you were working on before the problem occurred?

Unfortunately, I wasn't able to undo enough actions to be able to save. I was able to export as a VCL which seemed to retain most of what I had been working on. 

I had been working on plotting cross sections for vertical surfaces at the time. I'm thinking that I may have deleted a surface that I didn't need, that may have been selected as a corridor reference surface.

I have been getting the same issues on one particular job,

Generally seemed to be when changing linetypes / features

Exporting as a VCL is not really an option as later on I have to produce As Built Plans in two differing Coordinate Systems (Set Out points have to be exploded and lose info)

Hi, I am getting an error as well. See attached. Also in the folder where my project is saved is creating .tmp files. Every time I try to save a .tmp fil is created. 

Also I had deleted a bunch of linework that I didn't need prior to trying to save.
