What Is The Version 5 Public Rollout Timeline?

Alan has posted some interesting and informative videos about v5.0. Some of the Sitech folks I've heard are doing a Bootcamp Training this week. Since it appears to be a major change in both software and licensing I wondering what the general release timeline is? Can I have both v4.12 and v5.0 on my work station until v5 is learned enough to be a production tool or is it "sink or swim?" Also I've added modules over the last couple of years so will the new licensing just happen or is there Sitech help required to put it all together?

The product is being used for Training at the Dealer Bootcamp that is going on in Las Vegas this week, and again next week at Dimensions. The official line is that it will be released in Q4 (it has to be released in Q4 for financial reasons), but I am not allowed to specify a date unfortunately - however we hope that it will be soon after Dimensions - we are in final Debug Mode at present and it will likely take a few weeks more at least before it is ready for Prime Time (but it is close). Apologies for the vagueness it is internal policy

Thank you Alan. I frequently relate model building to solving puzzles. Until I send my work out to the field I am continually searching for clues to understand what the designer/engineer/architect actually wanted the project to be. Once I have enough of the puzzle figured out I can start my build. Even after sending it to the field more information continues to come in and the model changes. With the creation of the Forum this year news about the new version has been trickling in where before it was just a mention from the Sitech folks. Apparently it is part of my DNA to search for clues once my interest has been piqued.

I will be watching this space for news. :-)
