Wondering if there is any way to create little flow arrows to indicate drainage or flow channels along with my slope text? Or maybe they are already made in TBC and I can't find them.I have attached a screenshot of where I would like to put them. In the drainage diversion on the right hand side of the pad by the slope percentages.

    All help is appreciated,

    Thank you

If you are just trying to annotate the text, I would just draw an arrow and save it as a block. After your block is saved you can insert and rotate any direction you want to show the desired flow.

TBC has surface arrows to show the flow of the entire surface, which can be turned on 2D or 3D mode in the property settings for the surface.

Yeah that's probably what I will end up doing. It is just for annotations on my deliverables. I use the surface arrows all the time as a QC/QA tool when checking surfaces. They are pretty handy.

Thank you for your help Nick!

I do the same. I have requested adding surfaces arrows to the smart text so that the would then act as a "block". As you move around, the slope value and the arrow would update.

Its too bad you cannot do if statements in smart text. If you could you could use carrots to delineate this; <- or ->
