time in level report

  • 1.  time in level report

The time displayed in a Trimble DiNi Level DAT file, and the Level Editor report, appears to show the seconds to 3 decimal places. ie:  14:41:231  The third decimal place is always"1".  WHY is this?

Can it be removed, as when I export it to (say) to a MSExcel document for editing and tidier reporting, it does not transfer tidily.

Or is this a bug.... (in which case when will it be resolved!)

From the DiNi Manual Below.  The number after the 2 digit seconds is actually the number of readings taken and not a partial second.  By definition the time only has 8 characters and there is no space between time and the number of readings.

    Thanks Neil.  That explains it.

I would still like to see a space between the time and number of readings though!  (Although I can split it in MSExcel by using the 'fixed width' limiter...)
