Importing an "asc." LIDAR file into Trimble HCE 5.10

Hi there, I am fairly new to Trimble, and I am wondering how to import a LIDAR topography into trimble as an "asc." file, which is the only version that was available from the owner. Is this possible, or is there a way to convert the file into another compatible format? Thank you!

Can you upload the file so we can review it.  Most files you can simply drag and drop into your project.

Most people use dropbox or similar program that allows you to upload a file and send another person a link to download the file.

Thanks Tim, I believe you should be able to access the file through the dropbox link below,

    Dropbox - DEM_LIDAR_2018_Airport_Trail_area_1m.asc - Simplify your life

It is an ESRI .arc point cloud file.  It has an origin grid spacing and a series of elevations.  We don't currently read this format.  I looked a bit and could not find a converter on the web.  For point clouds we can read the following.  Some of these formats contain the coloration others are just ascii points files.  See if you can get one of these formats.

Thank you Tim! I figured it probably wasn't compatible. I will request a file extension matching one of the above formats.
