I have attached types of files.

I have a Horizontal Alignment defined in TBC. I need to add the vertical definition to that HAL.

How do I go about.

In Terramodel I was using a TML : "Alignimp". It would import all data with Vertical Curves complete in one click. Do we have similar facility in TBC?

Hello Saif,

The vertical component of an alignment is tied to the horizontal alignment.  As such, you can create multiple vertical alignments per horizontal alignments.

Once the horizontal alignment is created, right-click on it in Plan View or in Project Explorer, and select Edit.  A tabular-based edit window launches, one of the tabs is Vertical.  Click on the Vertical tab and click the Create Vertical Alignment button on the right.  

The vertical alignment editing menu launches where you can input the geometry.

Thanks for the response, a bit delayed though.

This expects me to type in each and every element. I would rather be happy

to import a CAD. Terramodel or CSV file. That would be more efficient and

also more accurate especially when you are trying to create a TBC Corridor

with information (Design) from external sources.

Hope there is such a solution. If yes, please let me know.

This will do most of what you are trying to do. There is some discussion on alignimp for TBC. Hopefully it will be soon..

This is for me a half way solution. I think I have to wait for the alignimp

for TBC.
