Here is a quick outline of the steps.  I suggest that you work through the tutorials and videos (Retrieve) related to corridors for more tips.  A link to these can be found on the support tab.  Your dealer may also be able to arrange some additional training.

Create an alignment (HAL) using a line

Create a surface profile using the hal

Create an alignment profile view of the hal

Create a new line in the profile view or use the surface profile just created

You must create the line in the profile view using the same stationing of the HAL

If needed move your line in the profile view to the correct beginning station

Edit the alignment (HAL) and click on the vertical tab

Click on the create vertical alignment button

Click on the append to alignment command icon

    Pick the append vertical option

Pick the line from the profile view

A HAL can have multiple VALs

The controlling VAL is set in the property of the HAL

Hopefully this outline will get you started.

    Thank you very much.

Going forward, Could you please resolve another issue for me.It is also

from the same job. In the *.xlsx file, Elevations are missing. Why?

    Thanking you again.

    Regards.

Your horizontal alignment is 2d.  Once you define the vertical alignment it is 3d and will report the elevations.  The elevation is taken from the VAL or selected points and lines.  The depth is the depth from the val to the surface

I usually convert the 2D line to 3D first using "ChangeElevation"->"Surface Elevation".

Once you have the 3D polyline you can easily create the Alignment out of it.
