Slice through lines

Is there a way in TBC to create line by slicing through other lines as per picture below.

Final Line should have nodes and elevations from intersections points.

I don't think there is, but that would be a great #feature_enhancement

Here is a video showing what we can do to accomplish this in TBC today. Linestrings in TBC are the equivalent of 3D polylines. I give credit to @Heinz Lichtenberg for showing me this a few months ago!

@Radoslaw Myszak What would this be used for specifically?

    Cheers,

    Matt

So I think TBC has a pretty intuitive way of doing this in the Data Preparation section.

    Thank you everyone.

@Matthew Pitt  your way seems to be the best but with my licence Elevate line isn't active.

Agree with @Wayne Welshans Wayne Welshans that it would be a great #feature_enhancement.

@Matt McLean I use this to many things, often to do quickly cross sction through roads - often prefer to use this option becouse it snaps to lines instead to surface where it snaps to all 3d faces.

I will add this to the enhancement list! I can see how that is useful for road cross sections. What is the name of the command you used in your GIF?
