For some reason Glen's pictures aren't rendering for me - the resources seem to be broken. But I second his interest in having slope information added to the properties panel.
After building a model (e.g. a pipe model) I like to verify the data by selecting all the objects and stepping through them rapidly in the selection explorer while watching the properties panel. The way we build pipe models, each pipe is represented with a single-segment linestring modeled at the pipe's IE. I'm able to see max and min elevation and glance over at my plan set to verify they're correct. I can catch flat lines because there's only one elevation. If my lines are supposed to be all a specific length, I can watch the length values to verify. I've walked through the list of surface members to identify and isolate linestrings with Surface Sharpness => "Sharp and Texture Boundary" since there doesn't seem to be any better way to find all of these, not even Advanced Select. You get the point, stepping through the data in selection explorer while watching properties offers a way to verify any attribute included in the properties pane.
I noticed awhile back that slope length was added, and it made me wish that average slope was also displayed. Maybe even total number of nodes in the line.

Subject: Display slope of a linestring.....
Any ideas for best way to display a slope of a linestring segment other than Measure?
Maybe add the slope of a segment in the circled areas of the properties and segment table....
