Why are the Grade Breaks a problem at the VPC / VPT locations - basically when you append a VAL to a Vertical alignment it is adding those lines because they are actually Grade Breaks in the source VAL (because they are where the Line element joins the vertical curve element. Because they are accurately computed they will not cause you any issue and the Math is working because no Error Flags are shown in the VAL itself - so this will have zero effect on the Vertical Alignment in BC-HCE or as an outflow to SPS or GCS / Earthworks. Is this causing you an issue with output to other Field systems
If Yes then you can delete the unnecessary rows (select the Row, Right Click and Delete it) - while this is extra work we dont actually know whether the VAL was created in BC-HCE or in a third party software at this stage - so we just recreate all of the node that are defined in the VAL because we cannot just kick out Grade Breaks because many alignments do have Grade Breaks in the Alignment that would be necessary and we don't actually know that they are the VPC / VPT poiints (and since it has no affect on Trimble Systems we have not worried about addressing that.
Let me know if this helps - I will forward to Dev Team but I dont think that this is a High Priority Fix or necessary for at least Trimble workflows at this stage - can you advise why this is an issue (other than Cosmetics and extra data lines in the VAL editor)
