Boring Logs - Edit as Spreadhseet

Is there a way to edit existing borings logs in TBC as a spreadsheet?

    Example:

Engineer gives 24 inches of loam as a strata layer but you field verify that there is only 4 inches of loam. With the current method you would have to edit each boring log. In excel, I could quickly adjust this with an equation.

Can we export out points and use the new TML to import boring logins as a csv? Not as ideal but would work.

That is what the RPS Import Boring Logs command does Pat - You have had it for a few weeks now.

You can import and reimport to override imported data but if the logs already exist in TBC, there is no way of exporting these out as a csv to then edit and reimport. At least, not that I am aware of.

You could export out the points and reenter the strata data, this just seems a little redundant.

Commonly with bore holes, we are not given the data as a list with northing, easting, elevation and other strata data. This TML works great for supplement data, field verified test pits,  or if you are given coordinates and the strata data in an excel type format.

The step that I am missing, because it wasn't really available, was having the data as a csv to begin with.

OK - but if you start a new project tomorrow, and you do the Boring Logs this way you have what you need. It is just because you already created the Boring Logs in TBC and cannot export them again that is your issue. The Import Boring Logs work process is a better way to go for all future projects for this reason.
