I dont know why but there was no of all my user settings  after starting TBC today!!

I dont need to know why, I dont want to see it again.

I have to roll up all roll-out menu (Flag, Raw Data and so on) again in any opened file. Is it possible to have it like from last opened state?
I use surfaces, layers and point cloud regions and I am keeping all other rolled up.

I don't know how to answer this question really as I have no idea what could have happened to change everything in your setup. It sounds like your Menus etc all got changed back to defaults for some reason - did you have a bad crash or something?

The Menus, Toolbars, Quick Access Toolbars and Shortcuts that you use are all saved in the menu configuration file. If you have that saved somewhere then you can simply reload that and all should be back to normal. You can save it by Support - Options - Customize Menus - Export and that will write a file - I save mine in my \Documents\TBC Master\Menus folder so it is separated from TBC installation completely so it doesnt get affected by updates etc.

The Options that you use can be saved out into an Options File and can be reimported into TBC if you have an issue like this to restore all your Options setups - these are created from Support - Options - Manage Options and that creates a file or imports a file containing all your options setups. I store these in \Documents\YTBC Master\Options

Project Settings get stored in the Project Files / Project Templates and your Projects / Project Templates should be unaffected by a crash or event like that - I keep a copy of all my Project Templates in a separate location to the TBC Installation folders to have a backup of those that I can readily restore on Update or in the event of a crash. Again I store those in \Documents\TNC Master\Project Templates

You should then be able to restore your system fairly quickly if this should happen again.

    Hi Alan

I dont know about any crash or anything that could change it.

There are new tabs now (were not in friday) and it is ANZ tool box.... and Monitoring tab.....  I dont have licence for it and I cant make it hidden.......so it looks that here was an update.

And a few buttons vanished.... and there are no buttons in the tabs mentioned above.

    Any explanation?

It sounds that you've installed TBC 5.40. The ANZ Toolbox is a new module in TBC you'd need a license for. A new installation of TBC will unfortunately reset all the custom changes you've made to the toolbar in the past. I usually export my settings as Alan has described, and import them after installing a new version. That way my custom bars come back, but I might not see any new buttons that got added by the update. I'd have to add them manually with the customization tool.
To get rid of tabs you don't need you can use the "Set Ribbon Tabs" on the support tab.

    Hi Ron.

Yes, I installed 5.4, but it was in december 2020..... so the change wasnt caused by the installation and I am not stupid to make this alert right after new fresh installation. Simply I closed TBC on friday afternoon and monday morning it looked diffrent = new tabs, no my settings and wrong and lost buttons.

I understand that there are new tabs that I have no licence for, I am not suprised.

But as you can see I cant hide them. And you can see some of the broken buttons (elearning, 3d view and so on)

There was may be a windows update, it is the only one thing that comes to my mind that can did something deeper. But it shouldnt cause that, should it?

Thank you and alan to know how to save and manage my settings.
