My previous version was, I believe, 5.50.
Is inch the correct unit? That I really didn't think to check. I just know that for years it has been 0.028 ft/km of levelling out of the box. It could be possible that this is a fix a LONG time in coming.
I'll have to check into that.

Which version have you been using before? I couldn't reproduce that in any version from 5.20-5.6 that I have installed.
In the end is inch in my opinion the correct unit anyway. A modern digital level has usually a km error for a double levelling of around 0.3 mm/km, 0.019 inch/mile.

The whole point of my first post, which I now see that I didn't mention, as that this happened immediately after my update to version 5.60.

Same template. Same units, but for some reason the 0.028 ft has changed to 0.028 in.

Have you used the same template as before?
Check in Units->Distance that the whole project is set to Metre.

Is there a good reason My Default Standard errors for Levelling have been changed to inchs? And is there any way to fix it?
