We use numbers for our feature codes.
For example, a code of "23" is a buried water line. Of course, we type "23 BS" to begin the string and everything.
A code of "207" is the edge of pavement. You get the idea.
When we have multiple codes going at the same time, we have a code of "207" and a code of "207.1".
This is an issue that has been going on for about a year and a half.
So like I said, a code of "23" is a buried water line. We have an attribute for the code so we can put the size of the buried water line if its marked by the utility company. And many times we will have multiple water lines running at the same time. We will have a "23" and a "23.1" and a "23.2" all going at the same time.
Prior to an update a year and a half ago, when we entered the code of "23", the "attribute " button would show up and we would put an attribute in the attribute field. Then if we had a code of "23.1", as soon as we typed in "23.1", the attribute button would show up. The codes are identical in every way in the Feature Definition Manager.
After the update, only the code of "23" has the attribute show up.
If we type in a "23.1", or "23.2", the attribute field no longer shows up.
The same thing happens with all of our codes with an attribute and a photograph.
We type the base code and the attribute shows up and the photograph icon shows up like it always did.
But as soon as we type in a code with a ".1" or ".2" or ".3", the attribute doesn't show up and the photograph icon doesn't show up.
We have all of the latest versions of everything, TSC7 operating system, Trimble Access, TBC... everything.
It's probably something Trimble messed with when they did an update. Forgot some code or something.
Does anyone have any ideas? Or does anyone have access to someone at Trimble?
Thanks.
