How can I select/filter point data by deviation

  • 1.  How can I select/filter point data by deviation

    Posted 10-19-2020 15:16

I hope to be able to filter the points in TBC by a range of delta. In this case, I hope to be able to select / filter As-Staked points by Horizontal Deviation.

I can run an as-staked report, and export to Excel, however I would think (or hope) that the software could simply point out where something went wrong by a user tolerance.

I would settle for, actually be thrilled with, a report that would highlight / segregate points that did not meet the tolerance.

Can anyone suggest or guide me to a solution?

    Hi John,

By deviation, are you referring to the delta value between the as-staked point and the design point? If so, You can flag points exceeding the tolerance as below. Make sure the Error Flag is turned on in View Filter Manager, then points will be flagged if they exceed the horizontal/vertical tolerance.

And you can adjust the threshold of the tolerance from Project Settings -> Computation -> As-Staked Points.

Please let me know if this is what you're looking for. Thank you.
