I just want to see what kind of luck other people have had extracting trees using the Extract Point Feature in the woods. Personally our results have been hit or miss. If the ground is reasonably flat with light brush we have had pretty good luck, but when we get in the hills even with light brush we are not getting good results. 

I've only tried it on one project with wooded type areas (not singular individual trees).  It was hit or miss, but many of the trees were not individual truck vertical trees. There were several trucks that leaned out from center where there wasn't actually a trunk in the center of the area of the angled trunks. I think TBC would have difficulty with trees that are leaning in general.
