    Is there a way to import a .dtm (microstation surface) file into BC?

    you have to get the surface in imodel (.icm.dgn) or Landxml (xml) format to achieve this, The DTM is a proprietary Bentley format that they will not share with Trimble so we are limited to the formats mentioned above.

    Converting to xml in Geopak has been my workaround, but I don’t like going into it.  I have run into this several times, so I thought it was worth asking.
