Problems Calculating Surface Volumes in TBC

    Hello everyone,

I'm pretty new using TBC and I´d like to know if there is a way to obtain surfaces volumes without using the +Cut/fill map tool. Pc's in my work place are not that powerful and I lose valuable minutes waiting for the map to be rendered every time I want to calculate volumes. I have the surface and project alignment, are those elements enough?

Any advice or tip?... Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance for your attention.

    Hello,

i see You have HCE version. I'm not familiar with that. But i guess You could calculate stockpile, surface to surface or to elevation volume using "Reports - Earthworks report". You only need surface objects for that (and optionally - boundary). It only calculates differences (Isopach) and gives You *.html or other text report.

Maybe this will help?TBC menu - Reports (Screenshot)

    Thank you very much,

That is by far what I was looking for, cause Im interested in total volumes and not on  specific cross-section's.

Thanks again for your support. Have a good day.

Hi. Calculating volumes with large surfaces takes ages. Use Create Volume Grid to do it in seconds. You don't get a nice report though. I added the command to to the top toolbar, very easy to use.
