TBC Community Forum Decorum

The TBC Community is for customers and end users to collaborate, teach, learn, and encourage one another with new and exciting workflows within TBC. The TBC Community is a professional space and contributors are required to maintain a constructive tone. Any intolerance, personal insults, and negative comments will be flagged and removed with all perpetrators being removed from the group without warning.

If there are TBC bugs or issues that need to be addressed, please first reach out to your local Trimble Authorized Dealer or communicate with a Trimble representative in a private message. 

Thank you for your understanding and support as we all build the TBC Community into a productive environment to learn and contribute to improving TBC’s survey and construction workflows.

  • TBC v5.60 is Now Available!

    The TBC Product and Engineering teams are excited to announce that TBC v5.60 is available for download today, Monday, November 15th, 2021!  


    Some exciting features and highlights are listed here:

    • New User Profile capabilities to save project templates, ribbon layouts, and more
    • Interactive time-dependent transformations 
    • Export GNSS vectors in GVX format to NGS’ OPUS platform
    • Reference and underlay .vce files and surfaces in other TBC projects
    • Linear feature extraction for lane line markings 
    • Simplified UAS workflow and support for DJI Zenmuse L1 UAV
    • New Tunneling tools for automating data prep and enhanced reporting for TBM projects
    • Streamlined data import and management of Monitoring data with customized reporting
    • New CAD context menu edit commands
    • Select feature attributes to include in labels
    • Automatically set Z-Values for connected lines in a vertical design
    • Change file types in batch when importing multiple items

  • TBC v5.52, v5.41 & v5.33 Now Available!

    Hello Community,


    The TBC team is excited to announce the availability of TBC v5.33, v5.41, and 5.52. Trimble takes cyber security seriously not only for current users, but past as well. Therefore, we have updated all TBC versions dating back to a year in order to incorporate significant improvements to security measures related to the use of Trimble Identity (TID) and Trimble web services with TBC (such as accessing external services for background maps and connecting to Trimble Cloud). Each TBC version comes with some bug fixes. More information can be found in the corresponding Read Me file in the “Release Notes” section of this page.

    Civil Construction customers, you can download all versions here.

  • TBC v5.51 Now Available!

    TBC community,

    On behalf of the TBC Product and Engineering teams, it is our pleasure to announce that TBC v5.51 is available for download today, Monday, July12th, 2021! This release includes support for the new MX50 mobile mapping system along with new mobile mapping features to complement. 

    In addition, enjoy the ability to now rotate your plan view (Hint: Ctrl + Shift + Middle Mouse Button).

  • TBC v5.50 Now Available!

    Hello TBC Community,

    On behalf of the TBC Product and Engineering teams, it is my pleasure to announce that TBC v5.50 is available for download today, Monday, June 7th, 2021!  You can download v5.50 here - or use TBC's Check for Updates routine within the software.

     

    This release includes exciting new features, enhancements, and fixes to known issues:

    • Updated ArcGIS connection to ArcMap and ArcPro
    • Enhanced IFC and TRB support
    • Numerous Aerial Photogrammetry workflow improvements 
    • Added capabilities and semi-automated approaches for linear feature extraction and extraction of cross-sections from point clouds
    • Improved Tunneling and Monitoring inspection workflows for analysis and reporting
    • New entry-level TBC Starter subscription edition to better align with customer needs
