Hi Jonas,
I have contact local software support (UPG in Australia) and logged a ticket and they are looking into the issue. They were aware of the issue already and looking into it, ive sent them my data as well to have a play.
To answer your questions though, i have one TBC file which i import the images from our weekly drone flights into. I then reference that file to any other files im working on so that i can have a background aerial image without having to import the image into every file i work on. I have no issues adding the reference file with the aerial images in, however when i turn the reference file on, the image will try to display and go bright green and then TBC will thow an error message, often crashing out soon after. I have a mix of jpeg and ecw files in ther erferncxe file, makes no difference to the error as it has happened with both types of images. All files are in the 2024.10 version.
If you want the data files as well i can send you a onedrive link, PM your email address so i can forward you a link.

Shane,
Thanks for sharing. From what I understand you have one TBC project containing an image. Using another TBC project, you run the command "add reference file". When you do so, there is a failure.
Can you provide:
What format is the image?
What version of TBC are you using?
Maybe even better if you could zip the files and share them in the post.
