I did provide some testing for this import with several datasets. If you do notice an issue, please reach out!

The new release came out yesterday. I ran the cleanup utility and installed 2025.20 today. I'm going to test and confirm if the erroneous assignment of UAS orthos (upon import from the create deliverable step) in metric went away.

I sure wish they would push this update or at least a dot update that addresses this issue.

I believe 2025.20 will be formally released within a couple of weeks. This will have the fix that you are expecting, as I have confirmed this with Trimble Geospatial support.

Hi Seth the dev team fixed it for v2025.11 and the QA team confirmed it with data from different 3rd party products. In case you still face the issue, let us know.

Just ran into this problem myself. I thought I was going nuts. I took me a while to realize what was happening, and then determine it was a 2025.10 thing. I agree, a fix is needed soon, very soon. Fortunately, I have GCPs in my tifs so I am using the georef tool in TBC to scoot the tif back to the correct location. It's not quite as accurate as directly importing the tif. I probably have 0.2' - 0.3' kicking around, but close enough. Definitely better that +/- 5000 miles.

My orthos are created in Pix4DMatic in US Survey Feet and they are now coming into TBC in meters only. Trimble needs to push a fix for this.

Ahh. I was thinking that you produced the ortho in the TBC photogrammetry module. If coming from DJI Terra, it should come in fine. I have seen nowhere in Terra where you can choose the type of ortho other than 2D Map slider bar on and low, medium, or high, haha. I will bring in an ortho that I produced in Terra and report back. Trimble is on it and they are actively working on a fix. If the ortho coming out of DJI Terra is a standard TIF/GeoTif, there should be no issues. Given you are having issues, I am thinking that it is indeed a JPEG compressed Tiff with transparency which is why TBC is choking on it (erroneously interpreting meters no matter what).

Thank you. Is the transparency setting only found by selecting the TIFF from the imported files pane, then choosing properties? Because it is already set to No in the Transparent Background field in Properties. Or is there another setting somewhere like the import editor?
As far as importing a non-compressed TIFF, I don't know if I'm able to do that. The ortho was created in DJI Terra, and I'm assuming it's compressed if I'm having this issue like you say.

Jeff,
I ran into this as well. It's a small bug in 2025.10. You can fix this without rolling back to the previous version. The issue is specifically with the TIFF w/ JPEG compression when the "Transparent Background" is checked. If you turn off the transparent background OR use a regular (non-compressed) tif, it will work just fine. I confirmed this with Trimble support over the past few days.

I just updated TBC to 2025.10, and it is not importing an ortho file (tif) in US feet. In the warning report link, it says that it couldn't be imported in US feet, and so it imports in meters. Is this a bug or is there a setting I need to change? It worked fine in the previous version.
