Which ArcGIS product are you asking about?
- The T7 uses a Windows OS and there is no Windows version of ArcGIS Field Maps.
- Web apps from ArcGIS Online should run on a T7, although you may want to test required functionality before making a purchase. Has anyone made an ArcGIS Online web app work with 3D positions from Trimble Mobile Manager? There is a Windows version of TMM in the Windows Store.
- Or are you asking about desktop software - ArcGIS Pro or ArcGIS Desktop?
I don't know if the SPS 986 or 985 receivers will work with any of these. Hopefully someone else can help with that question. Neither show up on the compatibility matrix.
We have had good results from a Juniper Cedar tablet running Field Maps and ArcGIS Online web apps. That's an Android device. I've seen a little flakiness with this device but it has been minimal.
