converting to filetype suitable for Leica machine control

    I am trying to export a surface to a file type suitable for Leica machine control from trimble business centre. looking for an option to convert to 3d face or similar that will be recognised on the Leica system. 

    has anyone had this problem?

    Just export the surface as DXF.

    It will convert the surface triangles to 3DFaces. For Topcon it had to be a rather old DXF version. Not sure which one Leica prefers. Just export multiple DXF with different names and DXF-age and see which the machine can load.
