Create 3D PDF in TBC v2023.11

    Hello,

I need to create a 3D PDF file from my model and I have some  problems.

The part of the model looks like this in TBC v2023.11:

As can be seen in the picture above, there are some descriptions of the objects and also the elevations of measured points along

    with contours with their elevations.

I select to export all of the displayed elements (in fact, I select for export ALL) to create a 3D PDF file.

When I open the exported 3D PDF file in Adobe Acrobat (not Reader), I see the following:

As can be seen in the picture above, the descriptions of the objects are missing, the elevations of the points are missing

and also the elevation values of the contours are missing although I selected them for 3D PDF export.

    Where is the problem?

Or, is it a TBC ´s export problem?

Thanks in advance to anybody for some tips how to get the required information into the 3D PDF file.

Once you complete the PDF on the left side there is a tree you can turn on and off layers. Are your layers selected?

    Yes, everything is enabled (POPISY=DESCRIPTIONS):

I suppose there is a problem in TBC when creating 3D PDF file.

I have the same version. Usually when I print a 3D PDF its just a surface. I just tried printing with points and grade line text. I got the same results as you.

I'm not sure why you want 3D with text? Have you considered printing a plan set with all the information you want?

We want to provide to our customer the data for his managers for showing it in a presentation form. Since TBC offers a 3D PDF creation, simply I wanted to use it. I see no reason, why CAD texts (descriptions of the measured features) cannot be displayed in the 3D PDF file.

Yes, I could use the plan sets - but for this specific purpose I would need to create a new one from the scratch. So, I thought that the 3D PDF file could quickly be used as an alternative.
