Hey Folks,

Has anyone else had issues running the "Create CAD Points from Scan Points" tool? I am running the latest version of TBC and both the Random and Spatial sampling reditions of this tool do not work. The Random one simply does nothing when you hit apply and the Spatial sampling acts like it's going to work but then throws an error? Any ideas? Can someone test with this version to confirm. See the error below.

This works. I am currently on 2024.01. You just cannot select a massive point cloud. Ideally, you downsample prior to running scan to cad points. See attached. You can also do a small subsection like i did. You just cant select millions of points and do random sampling. Be sure that your RAM is maximally used in the TBC Options (i.e., 50% of total RAM). I wouldn't even use TBC with the scan module without 64GB of RAM or more. 

I don't use this function, but often when an error like this occurs continuously on a function reinstalling TBC can eliminate the problem.  I once had TBC unable to colorize point clouds that a reinstall fixed.
