There is offset lines and create points at intersection. Not everything is created equal.

Thank you very much for the response. Creating a csv file with a grid orientation is possible but involves some additional steps though.
I used Civil 3D to generate points.
There are work arounds. But why should we not have the ease of doing the same inside TBC....
Thanks again.

If there is not way you have found yet. I would just do a CSV file and import . Excel has a quick method on adding station rather quickly. How long of a stretch is it.

I intend to create a set of points on a grid at, say 5m by 5m in TBC 5.81. Is it possible at all. I did not see any option in the menu and the help file did not help!!!
I created an "Elevation Grid" in Surface tab. At a grid less than 20m by 20m it used to give me a message that the grid is too dense to display. Any way I can circumvent this?
I was unable to export to CSV the Elevation Grid points or values. Could someone help me please.
I created a surface in TBC, exported to Land XML. On import in Civil 3D, there were only 3D Polylines. No surface!!! This work around also frustrated me.
Thanks.
