This might seem pretty mundane, but it is something that has bothered me for awhile. To deselect features normally you just click any empty area of the viewport. However when working with Point clouds your viewport might be completely taken up by a point cloud. If you accidently click a region and want to deselect it you have to scroll out and find an empty area of the screen to deselect it.
are there any hacks or commands I don't know about that can do this quickly so I don't need to scroll out and select an empty part of the screen?
