Downgrade from v5.7 to v5.6

    Hi guys,

    Due to issues with all the bugs in 5.7, and concerns about other possible bugs that I haven't yet come across that might be lurking to cause problems, I was thinking about downgrading back to 5.6.  However, I've had 5.7 running for about 3 weeks now, and so have many projects on the new version.

    Has anyone had success or know of a way to effectively get the newer project files working in the previous releases given the lack of backward compatibility?

    Failing that, I might have to stick it out and hope an update comes soon.

    Do you know about dragging the 5.70 VCE file into a blank project while holding ctrl+shift?

    HI Adam - thanks for this.  No, I actually didn't know about this one... could be my solution while Trimble has another go at the update.  My big take-away has been to hold off implementing future updates!
