Exporting DXF/DWG to show level text etc

    Hi

    Can anyone please tell me how to export the level text/ID's etc as a DXF/DWG?

    I can see you can use the filter manager to turn off and on what attributes you want to see on the lines/points, however, how do you export to show the levels as text for example or the point ID's?

    Thanks

    Richard

    Go to Draughting, label the Points, export DXF/DWG.

    Draughting -> Label -> Points

    Pick preferred Point Label Style and off you go.
    You can edit Labelling Styles in "Label Style Manager".
    Please remember that "Text Style" and "Project Settings -> View -> Plan View -> Plot Scale" govern the size of the Labels (text) on your screen.

    Hi Richard.  Marian's answer is the better CAD export method with many more options however when I need a basic output I simply use the "Export point as point block" option in the "Export" window.  Any points (but not CAD points) you select in TBC where you can see their point ID, code or elevation as you mentioned in the View Filter Manager, will then export to CAD as a block.  By default the 3 layers are turned off when you open the file in AutoCAD and the points are simple dots as opposed to crosses which is easily fixed by changing the point mode ("pdmode" and set to 2).  As the 3 items are sent as a block, you can either scale in AutoCAD via the point Properties or explode everything to deal with the 3 items separately.  A bit messier than the correct draughting process but quick to just get point ID, elevation or code.
