    Hello,

    Using TBC 5.81 I get the following error after extracting curb and gutter linework, particularly when clicking on the 'Create Lines' button. Same as here:

    This happens with various data sets, including the Trimble tutorial one, see link below. Is there a solution to this problem?

    Hi Mark

    I tried reproducing your error and crash in TBC using the tutorial dataset and a second MM dataset and was unable to get TBC to crash. Will it be possible to capture a video of your workflow that shows this crash in TBC, want to replicate it on my side to see if we can figure out why this is happening. Thanks

    Mark I also have the same problem. But when I get others to try it on the same dataset there is no issue.  I keep hoping new releases of TBC will have this resolved, but so far no luck.

    Steve, I think I got it fixed. It might be a missing dependency of some sorts. I restored all the Windows crap I previously uninstalled by running the following Powershell (as an admin):

     

    Get-AppXPackage -AllUsers | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}

     

    Perhaps I removed something I shouldn't have. You can give it a go, or try it on a machine with a fresh Windows install.

    Hi Mark,

    Are you undocking the "Extract line feature" command to the middle of TBC window or other monitor? We had an issue with that, but is currently being investigated and will be addressed in the upcoming release. Until then, please, do to undock the command.

    Yes, I do typically undock to another monitor. Thanks for the tip, I will definitely give it a try.

    I can confirm undocking the 'Extract line feature' palette crashes TBC when extracting Curb and Gutter. Keep it docked and all is good. Thank you Evalina for that tip!
