If you are reading this then you are like me in that you see the value in all the data TA collects and want to know how to achieve more out of these job reports. You may have also seen some of these in action or have dabbled with the stock reports Trimble puts out on their website. These reports can show everything that happened on any specific day and report data from angles, distances (Grid/Grnd/Edist), backsite checks, residuals on rounds, what target and at what height, stakeout information, linked files, Field Notes, observation times down to the split second, and a lot more.
The stock reports are a great place to begin in order to see all the different ways of reporting data in an easy one-click export option, either from TBC or TA. But, not every company may want the look or feel of what Trimble puts out. With these reports, companies can easily create reports that can be given to a client (Cut Sheets) or office personnel such that they can easily check data an confirm the job was done appropriately.

Reports that I have created for our staff include
-Raw data reports: Used for our Topo crews showing backsites/checkshots/meaned angles/pictures/field notes etc.
-Job File Notes: This shows any Field notes stored
-CSV PNEZDAN- This exports typical PNEZD plus Attributes from FXL and fieldNotes. This can be easily imported into C3D
-Construction Report- This shows all raw data with a cut sheet at the bottom. With a construction FXL file, crews can easily store what they will be writing on the lath
-Horizontal Report- Used for our Plat Mons and Horizontal only staking, the user enters the desired horizontal tolerance and reports anything out of tolerance in RED text
-Pictures only report- If crews are taking pics via TA and you only want to see these pics and nothing else.
