LATEST TBC BUG FIX RELEASE DOES NOT REGISTER AS UPDATED

Downloaded latest release of TBC (TBC_2025_20_1_FULL_SETUP) and installed it on 2 computers.

After a reboot and "Check For Updates" TBC still shows me as running the previous version (2025_20). It doesn't register the update, Downloaded and installed it twice to check.

So is the download link mislabeled and actually downloading the previous version again? Or is TBC itself not registering the update in "check for updates"?

    Which is it?

Any ideas on how to check?

    Happy New Year.

I saw the same behavior. I am guessing that it's a bug in the splash screen and reported installed version.

Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features shows 25.20.1

Does any of my money go to software development? I can't tell any difference in performance or stability. But at least I have the annoying reminder that my software is not up to date (but it might be) and I do not have the help files installed for other countries. When TBC is being slow, sure would like to see some activity on Task Manager like every other software installed on my computer.

So, I rolled back my TBC to 2025.20. Now when I "check for updates" TBC is NOT on the list.

The only items listed are the ANZ Toolbox that I didn't install in the first place and those Help files that have nothing to do with my software installation (I always choose 'English" during setup).

The Notifications panel still says "Updates Available" and lists the 2025.20.1 version but the actual update panel doesn't show it.

The original Trimble Downloads page still has 2025.20.1 available for licensed users.

But buckle up if you choose the all new "Trimble Field Systems Help Portal!" (yes, complete with exclamation mark). It starts by telling you to update your bookmarks. They aren't kidding.

This route takes you to the all new "Trimble Business Center Resources Page" and the "Start Here". It says that "TBC Version 2025.10 is here" (that's one full release behind). Then you click on "Downloads". This takes you to a "Software and Utilities" link. Clicking that link takes you to a list of the various types of downloads available. Once again , click on "Latest Trimble Business Center Software" which opens the drop down menu that says "Download Trimble Business Center" (it also has a note saying that you'll be able to choose between Online and Offline downloads). Click that link and you get back to the original "Trimble Business Center Software" page with the Online/Offline download options.

    Don't know what to say...
